Bio:

Born in Harstad, Norway, in 1980, Stian Klo breathed and lived music 247 since his teenage years, exploring the many genres the scene had to offer. After moving to Oslo at the age of 19, he quickly established himself as a DJ, while working for a local record store, pushing both records and technical equipment. Stian's musical preference veers towards dirty, electrotechacid monsters, but don't be surprised if you hear the odd melodicproggy number, making him a very versatile DJ.

Probably better known to you as one of the residents on the famous Oslo Nights radio show, which he runs on DI.FM together with Lars Jacobsen, Stian brought a key contribution to the success of the show, which so far has received amazing feedback, just recently picked up by XM Radio and WorldSpace in the US. In partnership with another well-known upcoming producer, Ozgur Can, this summer Stian has launched his very own record label, FURRY MUSIC, aimed at showcasing fresh and innovative electronic music from the vast selection of new breed producers. A 2nd label is in the works as well, PRAESUL RECORDS, an all digital venture, which Stian runs together with his Seyton partner, Thomas Nokling (Manipura).

2005 was a key year in Stian's career, with gigs all over the world: Romania, Poland, UK, Canada, Egypt, Slovakia, Greece, Holland, Turkey, and a tour of Australia, as well as numerous guest appearances on radio shows around the globe. His increased popularity both as a DJ and producer is simply the natural consequence of Stian's innate talent and dedication, hard work, and amazing creative drive and energy, fueled by his and sincere passion for the music. If you are in Oslo, drop by Sikamikanico to hear him play at his Furry Music clubnight alongside majors such Sebastien Leger, James Talk, Chris Lake, Jori Hulkkonen, Jody Wisternoff, John Dahlback, Ozgur Can, Paolo Mojo etc.

Production-wise, Stian has collaborations with the likes of Espen Gulbrandsen, Ozgur Can, Thomas Nokling (Manipura) and Elusive under his belt, so keep your eyes peeled for forthcoming releases on Perc Trax, Invent, Lo?Tsuba, Mashtronic, Plejour, Maris Music, Precinct, Method, Vapour, Electronic Elements, Heavy Rotation, Furry Music, Dumb Recordings, CP Recordings, L2 Music, Infamous Light, and more. His productions under the aliases Furry Nipples (with Ozgur Can), Seyton (with Thomas Nokling), Espen and Stian (with Espen Gulbrandsen), and of course his real name, have received massive support and accolades from the likes of John Digweed, Sasha, James Zabiela, Paul Oakenfold, Paul van Dyk, Gabriel and Dresden, Hernan Cattaneo, Ti?o, Fergie, Slacker, Way Out West, Pete Tong, Armin van Buuren, Max Graham, Eric Prydz, Kasey Taylor, John Acquaviva, Funk D'Void, John Dahlback, Cass, Kosmas Epsilon, Markus Schulz, Gwill Morris, Anthony Pappa, Marco V, Shiloh, Danny Tenaglia, Martin H, Satoshi Tomiie, Paolo Mojo, Mashtronic, Steve Lawler, Perc, James Mowbray, Matt Rickard, James Talk, Ozgur Can, Rouzbeh Delavari, Jamie Anderson, Nils Noa, Audiofly, Dj Paulette, Derek Taylor, Stefano Greppi and lots more.
