Zeque Bio :: Matías Méndez Meyer started with music at the early 2000..s , coming from a musician family he starts playing guitar, bass, piano and drums when he was only 10. 5 years later he moves to mexico city and starts going to a lot of raves, clubs & partys, falling in love with electronic music. On 2005 he starts DJing and thanks to his mixing technique and the excellent music he chosed, he gains respect from the audience just a year of djing. Later he starts making his first tracks wich converged in two projects: Meyer (Solo Project) and Morett and Meyer (With his Friend Pavel Morett aka Panorama 85) the two projects were supported by several people on the mexican republic. Nowadays Matt produces alone his tracks as zeque, also he has another project called Plastiq (with Jadad Ornelas Gonzales) (Both With Live Sets). He has played digital mix + live on diverse parties and clubs along mexico, places like cancun,palenque, pachuca, cuernavaca, ixtapa,toluca.. His style its something between minimal house to proghouse & techhouse with an electric touch. (you know these days u cant put a name on a genre..) Live manipulation and performance. (Mixes + FX + Samples + Pitch shifting). |
